Forkified is the best place online to buy and sell new and used food photography props, backgrounds, and more. We strive to be an online community and marketplace that helps connect food photographers with the information, tools, and people they need to do their jobs well.
02. What can I sell on Forkified?
You can sell anything you think may be useful to a food photographer. Feel free to browse through our Categories page as well as our Pinterest and Instagram profiles to get ideas of what is popular. There is also a section where you can post available food photography jobs or if you are looking for work.
03. How do I sell on Forkified?
You must first register for an account. After that, simply click on “Submit Ad” in the top navigation and fill in the necessary information for your item(s). Keep in mind that you are responsible for establishing shipping costs with the purchaser as well as packing and shipping the item in a responsible manner.
04. What can I do to help my item(s) sell better?
Food photography is a visual medium. We highly encourage beautiful, well-styled photos of what you are trying to sell. This will also increase the likelihood of Forkified sharing your listing on social media, which will increase the reach of your ad.
05. What does it cost to sell on Forkified?
Currently the site is free to use for anyone with a valid email address.
06. Do I need to pay for shipping?
It is the responsibility of the seller to establish who will pay for shipping. Forkified is not involved in or responsible for shipping costs or practices.
07. What can I post in the forums?
The forums are there to create a community. You can post questions, answers, and thoughts related to food photography and all its gear, tips, etc. Please conduct yourself in a kind, respectful manner when using the forums and refrain from posting any adult or illegal content.
08. What is your refund/return policy?
Refunds and returns are at the discretion of each individual seller. If you have concerns please ask questions of the seller before buying. If you purchase an item and it arrives damaged or never arrives, please try to work it out with the seller. If you suspect foul play please contact [email protected] and we will do our best to help and ensure that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. We do not offer refunds on plan purchases related to posting ads.
09. How can I protect myself from scams?
Use common sense when it comes to dealing with the internet and other people. Do not click on questionable links or downloads. If meeting a seller in person do so in a well populated area. Ask sellers questions before purchasing and don’t buy if something seems off.
10. I don’t live in the United States. Can I still use your website?
Yes! We want this to be a place where food photographers from all over the world can connect. Please specify your location in your ad to prevent confusion. Occasionally the location option on the Submit Ad page may not work with your address. In that case, enter any address in the field and specify in the text of your ad where you are located. Please also specify in the text of your ad the cost of your item in your local currency, as we only currently have the ability to post in US Dollars. We recommend buying and selling within your own country to avoid shipping headaches, but you are welcome to do as you please. Any fees associated in the seller’s transaction are to be worked out between seller and buyer.
11. Can I link to my Etsy shop or website in my ad?
We request that you do not link to your Etsy shop or website in your ad. Doing so may cause you and your ad to be removed from the site. If you would like to discuss advertisement options for your business within Forkified please contact [email protected]. If posting within the Jobs category you may link to a portfolio site or the site of your business that is hiring.
12. I am the creator of a food photography resource. Are you able to include it on your Resources page?

13. Can I sell many items in a lot?
You may sell items as a lot within a single category or under the Uncategorized section. However, you must sell all the items in the lot to a single Buyer and may not split them between Buyers.
